“We have been journaling using the daily journal and the life skill journal in school for five months now, and can already see a huge shift in the children’s approach to day to day life. Five minutes each day has helped to boost confidence, develop emotional literacy and give us the ability to pause and focus on the positive”

Cat Shennan, Cunningham Hill School

MEASURABLE RESULTS IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS

Traditionally lacking time and effective resources to help students develop the skills they need to regulate emotions, anxiety, and behavior, teachers are left to deal with never-ending student issues.

After just 10 minutes a day for two months, the Happy Confident Schools Program shows remarkable results benefiting students and teachers alike with a happier and more inclusive school community.

“It is wonderful to see children realizing the number of positive things that have happened in their day! Children are reflecting on what has happened and processing it appropriately. My classroom feels more positive, and the children are more cohesive as a class.”

Kathy Clarke, Red Oaks Primary

AWARD WINNING STUDENT WELLNESS

Each element of the Happy Confident pyramid takes students on a neuroscience-based journey to enhance their self-development. All lessons are ready-to-go and require little to no teacher training.

With online courses, videos, activities, and journals, students improve mental wellness, learn about their emotions, develop life skills, manage anxiety, reflect, and connect with their peers leaving teachers with time to teach and students with the focus they need to succeed.

HOW THE HAPPY CONFIDENT SCHOOLS PROGRAM WORKS

FEELIT®: EMOTIONAL AWARENESS

Students develop the skills to identify, understand, and articulate feelings with FEELIT®. Beginning in pre-K, children develop a deep understanding of 100 nuanced feelings, delivered through ready-to-go, easy-to-implement lessons, and activities.

With FEELIT, students learn to:

  • Identify and express their feelings
  • Master the art of self-regulation
  • Develop greater compassion for themselves and others
HCMtv: Character & LIFE SkillS

With Happy Confident Me TV (HCMtv), students develop essential character traits, life skills, and a growth mindset through 10 essential powers for success in and out of the classroom. HCMtv helps students:

  • Increase awareness and acceptance of self and others
  • Become skilled in reframing negative thoughts
  • Learn the art of self-regulation and reflection
  • Take on challenges without fearing failure
HAPPY CONFIDENT ME JOURNALS: Gratitude & Reflection

When students engage daily for 5 minutes with age-appropriate guided journaling, they build positive habits that improve optimism, confidence, and self-esteem.

With Happy Confident Me Journals, students:

  • Increase optimism, confidence and feelings of safety
  • Increase introspection, appreciation and reflection
  • Help create a space for self-regulation and decompression
  • Better identify challenges that may not be easy to voice

HAPPY CONFIDENT ME AFFIRMATIONS, CONVERSATIONS AND MEDITATIONS: Mindfulness & Connection

Delivered through games, audio files, and activities during circle time, assemblies, or peer tutoring, the Affirmations, Conversations, and Meditations help students appreciate and connect with themselves and others positively.

“There’s a real eagerness among the students to put a name to their feelings. They are not just brushing them off as generic emotions anymore. This prompts them to engage in some deeper thinking and fosters a more nuanced understanding of emotions, which helps cultivate empathy inside and outside of the classroom.”

Simy Slade, KTJ School

HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE ONE OF OUR PILOT SCHOOLS?

Can teachers develop student wellbeing, decrease behavioral incidents, and improve character education in less than 10 minutes a day? The Happy Confident Company is looking for three US elementary schools to pilot their practical wellbeing curriculum during the 2024-2025 school year.

Evidence shows that 92% of UK students engaging with The Happy Confident Schools Program feel safer at school with 86% better able to self-regulate. British schools using the program have seen measurable improvements in student conduct, readiness to learn, reduced anxiety, improved attendance, and increased instructional time. Consisting of daily short videos paired with student journaling, the program is easy to implement and integrate in any K-8 classroom.

All digital curriculum, training, and support is free with nominal costs to cover printed materials. With successful implementation, we will extend your pilot program to the end of the school year.
