The Happy Confident Me Journal is suitable for children from the age of six. For older children it can be used independently, by younger ones, together with an adult. It’s a perfect introduction to gratitude journaling or follow on after using our Happy Confident Me Super Journal.

Using the journal at the end of the day has greatest benefit as it allows the child to reflect on the past day, while still fresh in their mind, and go to sleep having focused on the positives. It’s a perfect tool for bedtime wind down.

We’ve designed our journals to work for all kids. Even those who don’t like writing. They can answer the daily questions in brief, or add notes in the free pages. If they like drawing, there’s plenty of space there too!

While every family is different, we recommend that the journalling days are Monday to Saturday. Leaving the Sunday for the activity day. Each week, there’s an activity for the week giving your child ownership of a moment to bring the family together and lead an activity that’s fun, and where everyone can get to know each other better.
